Tulsa time was fast and furious! Mom and I did a little Christmas shopping, a little wedding stuff (setting up the tuxes) and a little cooking... had lunch with Davie and some more shopping with the girls! Kenzie and I made the pumpkin pies for Thanksgiving and we all watched a movie before going to bed. Kenzie being the "Aunt's Girl" that she is, kept me up until almost 11:00 talking about school, dance, soccer, life, love, the meaning of life, seeing Ian again at Christmas, her birthday and everything else under the sun! Finally she fell asleep and I was able to get comfortable and fall asleep myself before being woke up at 5 am by mom! While in Tulsa, the weather was balmy and warm... to the point of wanting to ditch the long sleeve shirt and wearing only my tank top while out running around! Arriving back in Denver I found temps in the single digits...
Ian was amazing as he prepared the turkey, I made the pumpkin pie, then we together cleaned house and made the rest of our first dinner together (last year we had dinner with cousins and they cooked...).
